Section 1: THE PLATFORM

What is Huitzo and how is it different from AWS Bedrock or Azure AI?

What is Huitzo?

Huitzo helps regulated industries use AI without losing control of data, workflow, or audit records. AI applications, called Intelligence Packs, run on that control layer, so sensitive data never leaves the customer's environment.

What is an Intelligence Pack?

An Intelligence Pack is an AI application that runs inside the Huitzo runtime. Like a containerized application on a Linux host, an Intelligence Pack is the unit a team builds, tests, and deploys.

How long does deployment take?

Pre-built Intelligence Packs are designed to produce results in weeks rather than the 12-18 months a fully custom build may require. Exact timing depends on the customer's infrastructure and integration scope.

How do I contact Huitzo?

Email [email protected] for product, sales, support, press, and general inquiries. Most product conversations start with a 20-minute scoping call.

Section 2: SECURITY

Is Huitzo SOC 2 compliant, and where does my data go?

Where does my data go when I use Huitzo?

For licensed deployments, your data stays inside your environment. The runtime and its Intelligence Packs run on infrastructure you control, and Huitzo Inc has no runtime telemetry, phone-home mechanism, or usage reporting. Huitzo Hub is a separate Huitzo-hosted evaluation surface; do not place production customer data there unless your agreement explicitly permits it.

Are you SOC 2 compliant?

Huitzo Inc has not completed a SOC 2 examination. We do not claim SOC 2 compliance. Our licensed runtime is self-hosted, while Huitzo Hub is a separate hosted evaluation surface. The audit scope when we pursue SOC 2 will cover our build pipeline, code signing, license issuance, hosted systems, and internal corporate systems.

Have you been independently penetration-tested?

Huitzo Inc has not been independently penetration-tested. We will publish the dated letter from the testing firm when an engagement is complete.

Will you sign a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (BAA)?

Huitzo Inc does not currently sign Business Associate Agreements. HIPAA compliance is not a certification. It is a contractual and technical posture, and we will state our position when we have one to state. If you are evaluating Huitzo for a workflow involving protected health information, contact us directly so we can discuss your specific architecture.

Do you hold ISO 27001?

No. Huitzo Inc has not pursued ISO 27001 certification.

Are you PCI-DSS compliant?

Huitzo Inc does not process or store cardholder data, so PCI-DSS is out of scope by architecture.

Are you FedRAMP authorized?

No. Huitzo Inc has not pursued FedRAMP authorization.

Do you comply with GDPR? Will you sign a Data Processing Agreement?

Huitzo Inc has not published a GDPR readiness statement or a standard DPA template. If you are an EU-based customer evaluating Huitzo, contact us directly to discuss your data-processing requirements. In a licensed deployment, customer data remains inside the customer environment and does not enter Huitzo systems.

Section 3: THE COMPANY

Who built Huitzo and why?

Who founded Huitzo?

Huitzo was founded by Ernesto Sola-Thomas, who serves as CEO. The company was founded in 2024.

Where is Huitzo headquartered?

Huitzo is headquartered in Miami, FL, in the United States.

Is Huitzo a model provider?

No. Huitzo is the AI operating system for regulated industries: the platform AI applications run on, not the models themselves. It is model-agnostic and works with models from OpenAI, Anthropic, open-weight providers, or models a customer hosts themselves.

What does Huitzo do?

Huitzo runs AI applications, called Intelligence Packs, inside a customer's existing environment, so sensitive data never leaves it. It is built for organizations in regulated industries where data sovereignty, meaning your data never leaves your network, is a requirement.

How is Huitzo different from cloud AI platforms like AWS Bedrock or Azure AI?

Cloud AI platforms route customer data through their infrastructure. Huitzo deploys inside the customer's infrastructure, so data and computation stay where the customer already has compliance controls. Huitzo is also model-agnostic, while Bedrock and Azure AI lock customers into a specific model catalog.

Is Huitzo affiliated with the town of San Pablo Huitzo?

No. Huitzo Inc is a US technology company headquartered in Miami, FL, with no affiliation with the town of San Pablo Huitzo in Oaxaca, Mexico. The name honors the Zapotec word and place, nothing more.

Section 4: INTEGRATIONS

Integrations

Does Huitzo work with OpenAI?

Yes. Huitzo is model-agnostic. Intelligence Packs can call OpenAI models, Anthropic models, open-weight models, or models the customer hosts internally, all through one Python interface.

Can I add a custom integration?

Yes. Custom drivers let teams extend Huitzo to internal systems and proprietary services. The driver pattern is the same as adding a Linux device driver: implement the interface, register it, and use it from any Intelligence Pack.

What protocols are supported out of the box?

HTTP and HTTPS for REST APIs, native SDKs for major AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic), S3-compatible object storage, and transactional email. Databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis, along with internal infrastructure, are reached through custom drivers.

Does Huitzo run inside an air-gapped environment?

Yes. Self-hosted deployment is the default. An Intelligence Pack can run entirely behind the customer's firewall, including with self-hosted models, with no external network calls.

Can I integrate with my existing identity provider?

Yes. Authentication and access control plug into the customer's existing identity provider (Okta, Azure AD, internal SSO) rather than creating a parallel user directory.

How do Intelligence Packs share state across integrations?

Through one shared context interface. A Pack can call a model, read from object storage, and write to a database without bridging code between services.
